As LEAP APP, we show the utmost sensitivity regarding the security of your personal data. Within the scope of the LEAP APP application, where dietitians and users come together to produce solutions for a healthier life, your personal data is processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”). This information text has been prepared in order to fulfill our obligation to inform you, our valued users, within the scope of KVKK.

1. IDENTITY OF THE DATA CONTROLLER

2. CATEGORIES OF PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

The personal data processed through LEAP APP is as follows:

• Identity Information: Name, surname, date of birth 

• Contact Information: Phone number and email address

• Transaction Security Information : Password and Username, IP number, MAC address, visited sites, duration of visits.

• Health Information: Health data used during the dietitian consultancy process (e.g., weight, height, eating habits).

3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL REASONS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Providing dietitian services and conducting consultancy processes,

• Creation of user profiles and personalization of services,

• Responding to support requests and managing other communication processes,

• Improving and developing services through in-app analyses,

• Managing contract processes with users,

• Fulfilling legal obligations (for example, responding to information requests from official institutions and organizations),

• Managing advertising, campaign, and promotion processes,

• Collecting feedback to improve user experience,

• Planning and implementing internal audit and information security processes,

• Conducting activities in accordance with regulations and improving them,

• Conducting surveys and analysis studies to measure user satisfaction, analyze trends, and enhance service quality,

• Safely storing and archiving data.

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the legal conditions specified in Article 5 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK).

In the context mentioned above, the data belonging to users is processed based on the legal reasons in the second paragraph of Article 5 of KVKK, which are “the necessity of processing data for the establishment or performance of a contract,” “the necessity of processing data for the legitimate interests of the data controller,” “explicitly foreseen by laws,” and “the necessity of processing data for fulfilling a legal obligation of the data controller”  reasons. 

4. WHOM AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES PERSONAL DATA CAN BE TRANSFERRED

The personal data of users may be transferred to our third-party service providers, business/solution partners, affiliates, shareholders, company officials, and dietitians located within the country, limited to the realization of the purposes mentioned above.

Additionally, the information requested from us to fulfill our legal notifications, declarations and audits, and other obligations can be transferred to authorized public institutions and organizations, courts, prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, the Personal Data Protection Authority, and other judicial/administrative authorities in order to perform legal rights such as conducting judicial/official correspondence and handling legal disputes.

5. METHOD OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL BASIS 

Your personal data is collected through various methods for the purpose of fulfilling the services provided by LEAP APP and enhancing user experience. These methods include:

• Data Provided Directly by the User: Information shared during application registration (e.g., name-surname, contact information),

• Data Collected by Automatic Systems: Technical data collected during your application usage, such as IP address, device information, session movements,

• Data Shared during Consultancy Processes: Health information you provide during your discussions with your dietitian (e.g., weight, height, eating habits),

• Cookies and Similar Technologies: Cookie data used to analyze the usage of the application and web platform, understand your preferences, and provide you with personalized content.

  
  

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the following legal reasons specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK):

1. Performance of the Contract: Your personal data necessary for the execution of the contract is processed when you benefit from the services we offer by registering with LEAP APP.

2. Legitimate Interest: Your data is processed in line with legitimate interests such as improving the application, ensuring security, and increasing customer satisfaction.

3. Fulfillment of Legal Obligations: Your data is processed to meet the demands of authorized institutions and to comply with legal requirements.

In this process, we ensure that your data is processed only in accordance with the above-mentioned legal reasons and legitimate purposes.

6. RIGHTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA OWNER 

Personal data owners;

• Have the right to learn whether personal data is being processed,

• Request information regarding personal data if it has been processed,

• Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,

• Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, inside or outside the country,

• Request the correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing, and request that this correction be communicated to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,

• Request the deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, even though it has been processed in compliance with the law and request that this be communicated to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,

• Object to the emergence of a result against the person by means of automated systems exclusively,

• Have the right to request compensation for damages in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to us through the methods regulated in this Information Text, our Company will respond to the request free of charge within 30 days, depending on the nature of the request. If the response to the application is provided in a recording medium such as CD or flash memory, a fee may be charged for the cost of the recording medium. You can submit your request regarding the exercise of the rights mentioned above to us in writing at Yeşilkent Mh. Ardıçlı Leylak Çıkmazı No:10/1 Avcılar/Istanbul or through registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or email address using dicle@myleap.co.
